Born in London to Jamaican parents from Westmoreland and St. Catherine, Anasia followed a career as an engineer and project manager before following her heart into food, culture, music, and community.

Anasia was born and raised in London, UK, to Jamaican parents from Belvedere, Westmoreland and Troja, St. Catherine. Her family now lives in Linstead, St. Catherine.
Why Medellin
A bridge between roots and life abroad.
Colombia reminded Anasia of Jamaica through its lush green mountains, tropical climate, vibrant culture and warm people. Medellín offered the energy of a city with the warmth of a close-knit community, surrounded by nature, opportunity and possibility.
It felt like the perfect place to build a bridge between her Jamaican roots and a new life abroad.
